Technical audit

Two weeks reviewing architecture, infrastructure, cloud costs, development processes and vendors. We hand you a report with the problems ranked by what they cost in euros and a six-month improvement plan. It is for deciding with data, and for knowing whether the vendor is doing a good job.

Who it is for

Companies with a digital product about to make a decision with money behind it: renewing with the vendor, hiring a team, migrating clouds, buying a platform. And companies whose technology costs more every year without anyone able to explain why.

It is also the way into the other services: the scope of a modernisation or a project comes out of it, and the fee is deducted in full if we go on.

How we work

First week

Read access to repositories, infrastructure and invoices. One interview with whoever runs the business and another with whoever maintains the technology, in-house or vendor.

Second week

Analysis. Architecture, the cloud bill line by line, development and deployment processes, dependence on vendors and on specific people.

Delivery

A written report for the person who decides, not the person who codes: each problem with what it costs a year and what fixing it would cost. A one-hour meeting to walk through it and answer questions.

Then you decide

With the report you can carry on with us, with your team or with another vendor. It is designed to work in all three cases.

Scope

What it does not include is here, not in the small print.

What it includes

  • Review of architecture, infrastructure and the cloud bill
  • Review of processes: how things are developed, tested and deployed
  • Assessment of the current vendor or team, against explicit criteria
  • Report with the findings ranked by economic impact
  • Six-month improvement plan, with the order and estimated cost of each step
  • One-hour presentation meeting

What it does not include

  • Implementing the changes. That is a separate project, and the audit is deducted from it
  • A certified security audit or penetration testing
  • A line-by-line code review. Structure, tests and risks are reviewed, not every file
  • A legal report on data protection or regulatory compliance

Terms

Access
Read access to repositories, the cloud console and invoices. No access, no audit: opinions without data are worthless.
Confidentiality
A non-disclosure agreement before I see anything, if you want one. The report is yours.
Payment
On commissioning. If you later hire a modernisation or a development project, the €1,800 is deducted from the first invoice.
If you take the report
And build with someone else, you owe nothing more. It is designed for that too.
