Product development

A new product, a feature on a running product, or a product with artificial intelligence inside, on the web, in iOS and Android apps, or both. The scope is split into phases: each reaches production with its own fixed price and is paid for separately. Below €8,000 a project does not fit, and we say so before starting.

Who it is for

Companies that know what they want to build and need it in production with a fixed price and a clear delivery plan: a new product, a large feature on what they already have, a mobile app, or a product that uses artificial intelligence and has to work at real volume.

On artificial intelligence: we do not sell development with AI. We sell judgement about which parts of AI can go into production and which cannot. What is deterministic gets tested and goes in; what cannot be tested gets bounded, measured and stated.

How we work

Scope in phases

A one or two-page scope document: what it does, what it does not do and what it integrates with, split into phases. Each phase states what it delivers, how we will know it is done and what it costs.

Phase by phase

Every two or three weeks, a phase ends with something in production and a demo. You review it, accept it and it is paid; then the next one starts. You can stop at the end of any of them.

Small team

One point of contact, a small team, and artificial intelligence on whatever can be tested automatically. Nothing goes into production without a test that proves it.

Delivery and handover

Code in your repositories from day one, documentation and a handover session. Maintenance separately, if you want it.

Scope

What it does not include is here, not in the small print.

What it includes

  • Scope document split into phases, with the fixed price of each
  • Architecture, web and mobile development, automated tests and deployment
  • Integrations agreed in the scope: payments, APIs, the client's systems
  • Publishing to the app stores, if there is an app
  • Documentation and handover
  • Bug fixing for 30 days after the final delivery

What it does not include

  • Brand design or content: copy, images, video
  • Scope changes mid-project. They are quoted separately, in writing, before being done
  • Hosting, licences, app store accounts and third-party services
  • Maintenance afterwards. It is contracted as fractional CTO work or as a block of hours
  • Projects under €8,000

Terms

Scope
In writing and split into phases before the price. Each phase has its deliverable, how it is accepted and its price. What is not in the scope is not in the price.
Payment
By phase. Each phase is invoiced separately: part when it starts and the rest when you accept it. Each delivery has five working days for review.
Ownership
The code written for the project is yours, at no extra cost: it is in your repositories from day one and its rights are assigned to you as each phase is paid. What was already ours (tools and generic components) stays ours, and we license it to you with no time limit. Accounts and data, in your name.
Exit
You can stop at the end of any phase. You keep everything delivered and paid for, and owe nothing for phases that have not started.
Team
One person responsible and a single point of contact, with the team the scope calls for.

Indicative price

The fixed price comes from the scope, but you can know the order of magnitude before we talk. The calculator asks five questions and gives a tentative budget and an estimated time.

Worked example: a new web product, from scratch, no rush.

Frequently asked questions

Do you build mobile apps?

Yes, for iOS and Android, with Flutter or native depending on the case, and we take care of publishing them in the stores.

How is it delivered and paid for?

In phases of two or three weeks. Each ends with something in production and a demo; you review it, accept it and it is paid. You can stop at the end of any phase and keep what you paid for.

What is the smallest project you take on?

€8,000. Below that, scope and price cannot be fixed with any guarantee, and we say so before starting.

Do you use artificial intelligence?

Where it can be tested. What is deterministic gets tested and goes to production; what cannot be tested is contained, measured and stated.

A tentative budget before we talk

Five or six questions, under a minute. We send you the tentative budget, the estimated time and how many phases it comes in, and you see it right here.
